Responsible Gambling and Support
Support is available
If gambling is causing worry, financial strain or difficulty stopping, take a break and speak with someone who can help. You do not need to keep playing or make another deposit to seek support.
The Responsible Gambling Council's Canadian help directory connects people with provincial services, including free, confidential counselling. Choose the service for your province and check its current contact details.
Set limits before you start
- Decide how much time and money you can afford to spend, and stop when either limit is reached.
- Keep money needed for rent, food, bills and other essentials separate from gambling spending.
- Do not borrow to gamble or try to recover a loss by increasing your bets.
- Take breaks and avoid gambling when upset or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Canada's Lower-Risk Gambling Guidelines provide information about reducing gambling-related harm. Lower risk does not mean no risk, and choosing not to gamble is always an option.
Ask about a break or self-exclusion
To discuss restrictions on a Glorion account, open the Help Centre or LIVE CHAT and ask about the available responsible-gambling controls, taking a break or self-exclusion. Confirm how the requested restriction works and when it takes effect.
Do not open another account or use a different route to get around an existing restriction. If you need support while an account request is being handled, use the Canadian help directory above.
When gambling starts to take over
Pay attention if you are spending more than intended, hiding gambling from others, borrowing money, or feeling unable to stop. A counsellor can help you consider the next step. The Canadian help directory also includes support for people affected by someone else's gambling.
Adults only
Glorion requires customers to be at least 18 and meet the legal gambling age in their jurisdiction. Only use the service where you are eligible to do so. Keep account access and payment details away from children and never let a minor use your account.
